Warner Music Nashville singer / songwriter Robyn Ottolini is shining bright today as the newly crowned Rising Star of the Year at the 2021 CCMA Awards. She took home the prestigious award last night, marking her first-ever nomination and win for the Uxbridge, Ontario native. Her night of firsts continued with a stellar performance of viral hit “F-150,” her first performance on a major award show.

"I'm still shaking,” said Ottolini. “What a dream to not only perform but accept an award at the CCMA's last night. I've had an absolute blast watching this show from the nosebleeds for years, and as much as fun that's been, I gotta say being up on stage this year was pretty freakin' special."

Just before Black Friday last week, Ottolini dropped her latest appropriately timed track “Boujee On A Budget” (LISTEN HERE), taking a stab at some tongue-in-cheek financial advice. To coincide with the song, she also released the accompanying music video, tying in her passion for thrift shopping and sustainable fashion (WATCH HERE). The new tune follows her first original holiday jam “Hangover For Christmas,” a playful track highlighting the fun and messiness that accompany the Ottolini’s Christmas traditions. (LISTEN HERE).

Earlier this year, Ottolini released her major label debut, The But I’m Not Always Sad Either EP (LISTEN HERE), produced by Erik Fintelman and Mark Schroor. Ottolini first made an impact with fans with the CCMA-performed hit “F-150,” which reached No. 3 on Rolling Stone’s all-genre Trending 25 chart and No. 4 on Spotify’s all-genre US Viral 40 (LISTEN HERE). As she continues to add to her growing catalog, Ottolini has already earned more than 65 million global career streams in one year alone.

This month, Ottolini performed for thousands of fans alongside Lindsay Ell on her first-ever Canadian headlining tour, the Want Me Back Tour, making stops throughout Alberta and Ontario. Next summer, she will head back to Canada for the Boots and Hearts 2022 Festival, opening for country music icon Shania Twain.
