Warner Music Nashville rising star Robyn Ottolini is in the holiday spirit(s) with her new jam, “Hangover For Christmas” (listen HERE). The track highlights the fun and messiness that accompany Christmastime, from the peppermint schnapps to singing “Rudolph”… a little off-key. A two-in-one present, fans also received a music video full of holiday cheer (and possibly beer), featuring Ottolini decked out in Christmas attire at Santa’s Pub. With a red solo cup in one hand and a mic in the other, Ottolini is proving she’s ready to take on the holiday season – with the help of some jingle juice, that is.
“Christmas with the Ottolini family is always a vibe,” Ottolini said. “You know what that means? Gatorade, Advil and a tiny bit of coal in our stockings. Grab some eggnog, an ugly Christmas sweater and enjoy the happiest, most wholesome Christmas song there is this holiday season. P.S. drink water… your grandpa will thank you.”
“Hangover For Christmas” follows the release of Ottolini’s major label debut, The But I’m Not Always Sad Either EP (listen HERE). The EP delves into everything from relationships to self-love with witty lyricism and creative production by Erik Fintelman and Mark Schroor. An up-and-coming singer / songwriter, Ottolini first reached fans with her viral hit, “F-150” (listen HERE). The track reached No. 3 on Rolling Stone’s all-genre Trending 25 chart and No. 4 on Spotify’s all-genre US Viral 40. In just over a year, Ottolini has earned more than 60 million global career streams.
The Uxbridge, Ontario native is celebrating her first CCMA nomination in the Rising Star category after winning the Rising Star of the Year title at the CMAOntario Awards earlier this year. She will be taking the stage at the ceremony along with Dustin Lynch, Tenille Arts, High Valley and more. She will also be joining fellow Canadian Lindsay Ell for her winter Want Me Back Tour this month, making stops throughout Alberta and Ontario. Back in the States, Ottolini has been performing alongside BRELAND on his Cross Country Tour.
