Two-time GRAMMY winners and current nominees Dan + Shay have a celebratory reason to extend their curfew tonight as “I Should Probably Go To Bed” claims No. 1 on the Mediabase Country chart, marking their eighth career and fifth consecutive chart-topper. “One of Dan + Shay’s best singles yet” (Rolling Stone), the smash hit has surpassed one million track equivalents and is on its way to more than 200 million global streams.

Named to Billboard’s all-genre Top 50 Best Songs of the Year list, “I Should Probably Go To Bed” was produced by the duo’s Smyers and co-written alongside bandmate Shay Mooney. It reached No. 1 on the Country Digital Songs Sales chart upon release and earned their highest first-week equivalents for a duo-only release. The song made its TV debut on the 55th ACM Awards (WATCH HERE), with the cinematic music video taking home the CMT Music Award for Duo Video of the Year (WATCH HERE).

“I Should Probably Go To Bed” follows the massively successful No.1 single “10,000 Hours” with superstar Justin Bieber. The worldwide smash has earned more than 1.4 billion global streams and holds the record for the biggest first-week streaming total in country music history. It was the first song by a country duo or group ever to debut in the Billboard Hot 100’s Top 5 and spent 21 consecutive weeks at No. 1 on Hot Country Songs (fifth longest run in chart history). “10,000 Hours” has earned several accolades including Top Country Song (Billboard Music Awards), Best Lyrics (iHeartRadio Music Awards) and Favorite Song – Country and Collaboration of the Year at the American Music Awards, making Dan + Shay the first ever country artists to take home the all-genre Collaboration title. The 3x Platinum single is currently up for Best Country Duo/Group Performance at the 63rd GRAMMY Awards, which the duo claimed the previous two years for 5x Platinum multi-format hit “Speechless” (2020) and 6x Platinum global smash “Tequila” (2019).

In the seven years since they formed, Dan + Shay have accumulated more than 6.8 billion career streams, 35 total RIAA certifications, eight No. 1 singles at country radio and more than two dozen GRAMMY, ACM, American Music, Billboard Music, CMA, CMT Music and iHeart Award wins and nominations.
