“Hell Right, hell right, everybody throwin’ down on a Friday night,” sings Blake Shelton in his new single “Hell Right” (listen HERE). Penned by David Garcia, Brett Tyler and Michael Hardy, the song has already been touted by The Tennessean as “building into an anthemic chorus that seems tailored to whip an arena – or stadium – of fans into a frenzy.” The gritty new rocker, reminiscent of smashes including “Hillbilly Bone” and “Boys ‘Round Here,” is available now and will hit radio this Monday, August 19.

“This song is about taking things to the max,” Shelton said. “You can raise hell or you can raise hell right. It’s about cutting loose and having fun the right way. I spend a lot of time in Los Angeles these days, but when I hear songs like this on the radio, I am immediately thinking about being back home and what I’d be doing if I was there. The first time I heard ‘God’s Country’ I was on my ranch in Oklahoma. As a guy who actually lives this lifestyle, ‘Hell Right’ hits me in the soul now just as much as ‘God’s Country’ did then.”

The new single comes on the boot-heel of the superstar’s smash hit, “God’s Country,” which recently spent two weeks at No. 1 on the country airplay charts and seven atop the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. “Hell Right” co-writer Michael Hardy also lent his pen to “God’s Country,” and it has quickly joined the ranks of Shelton’s signature songs ranging from “Austin” to “Ole Red.” The Platinum-certified “southern rockin’ foot-stomper” (Rolling Stone) has more than 180 million on-demand streams and is the fastest country single in the past year to reach one million track equivalents.

Shelton is also on the charts with icon Garth Brooks for the duo’s “summer gold” (CNN) instant-hit “Dive Bar.” They recently performed the single together at a sold-out Albertsons Stadium in Boise, ID for a 40,000-plus crowd. In addition to his collaboration with Brooks, Shelton will join the “King of Country” George Strait on Saturday night for a super-sized show at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough.

Between select tour dates, working on his forthcoming album and filming for the next season of The Voice, Shelton remains focused on his Ole Red partnership with Ryman Hospitality. The newest addition to the collection of restaurant and entertainment venues will open in Orlando next year and joins locations in Tishomingo, Nashville and Gatlinburg.
