With the recent announcement that his family of four will soon be of five, it is only fitting that Curtis Rempel and his brother Brad, twice a father himself, of High Valley aim to pay tribute to “Your Mama” in their brand new song, available today (listen HERE). Written by Ben West, Josh Miller, Troy Verges and Florida Georgia Line’s Tyler Hubbard, the mid-tempo country tune is a parent’s heartfelt message to their child about “the one who brought you in the world… the one who makes it all okay when everything goes crazy.” Check out the song’s fitting visualizer HERE

“We’ve always hoped and believed that our music could help bring families closer together,” Brad said. “That is definitely our prayer for this song!”

High Valley’s music has always spoken to their family-driven lifestyle, but none more than “Your Mama” and this year’s earlier release “Single Man.” The latter, which Brad penned alongside Derrick Southerland and Jordan Schmidt, recently received a revamp that nods to the Warner Music Nashville duo’s bluegrass roots (listen HERE). The legendary Ricky Skaggs served as executive producer on the track, while Blake Shelton’s fiddle player Jenee Fleenor, who is currently being honored as first-ever female CMA Awards Musician of the Year nominee, played in the band. Watch the premiere of their in-studio video on The Bluegrass Situation HERE.

Their distinctive brand of positive-minded, bluegrass-infused country music has made High Valley a formidable duo across the globe. They have already earned more than 180 million streams across the US and their native Canada alone. Their 2016 debut album Dear Life produced fan favorite “Make You Mine” and Top 10 radio hit “She’s With Me,” both of which have been certified Gold. The brothers’ touring credits include dates with some of the format’s biggest superstars, from Shania Twain to Keith Urban and most recently Old Dominion. High Valley will continue to tour through the end of the year as they work on new music.
