Set To Make Grand Ole Opry Debut October 18

Having stood her ground in “Both” to find clarity in an overly-casual relationship, Ingrid Andress continues to champion a straightforward approach to love with her brand new track, “We’re Not Friends” (LISTEN HERE). Written by Andress, AJ Pruis, Derrick Southerland and Nate Cyphert, it is the fourth new song released this year from the Warner Music Nashville / Atlantic Records breakout, who is also set to make her Grand Ole Opry debut on October 18.

“You know when you’re just casually hanging out with someone because they’re cool but for some weird reason even when you start hooking up you still tell people ‘we’re just friends’? Well you’re wrong and that’s what this song is about,” Andress explained. “I had a damn good time writing it with my ACTUAL friends AJ, Derrick and Nate and am so happy it’s finally out in the world for all you gorgeous humans.”

People magazine recently shared a stunning, stripped-down version of her “elegantly written” (New York Times) current single “More Hearts Than Mine” featuring Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman from GRAMMY-winning group Little Big Town (WATCH HERE). The personal ballad has been applauded by HITS magazine for its “honesty and vulnerability virtually absent on Country radio," with Billboard praising the way it “honors a country tradition while expanding it.” With a national TV performance on TODAY (WATCH HERE) earlier this year, “More Hearts” has already amassed over 16 million on-demand streams to date.

The Colorado-native will join her powerful female peers on the CMA Songwriters Series presented by U.S. Bank in Phoenix, AZ on August 21 before heading overseas for her own headlining run throughout Europe. She’ll make multiple stops in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom beginning September 16 with Essex-born singer/songwriter Mabes joining Andress’ UK dates. Tickets for all performances are available now (PURCHASE HERE).

ABOUT INGRID ANDRESS

"A country pop rookie who can write a chorus like Sia," (PAPER), Ingrid Andress consistently chips away at expectations of herself and her sound. With several co-writer credits to her name, including Charli XCX’s “Boys” and FLETCHER’s latest release “About You,” Andress first honed her skills writing with heavy hitters in the music community such as Sam Hunt and Alicia Keys. Since signing with Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville in 2018, she’s already made national TV performances on Late Night with Seth Meyers and TODAY. She will continue to release new music that proves her to be one of the most unique and moving vocalists in the country space and beyond; one that is thrillingly honest, raw and refreshing in a way rarely seen emanating from Music City.
