Warner Music Nashville/Atlantic Records recording artist Ingrid Andress scored first-ever CMA Awards nominations today in the New Artist and Song of the Year categories, the latter for her Platinum-selling, No. 1 debut single “More Hearts Than Mine.” The multi-nominee joined labelmate Gabby Barrett this morning at the Grand Ole Opry to help announce her fellow nominees via livestream across CMA and ABC’s YouTube and Facebook pages (WATCH HERE).

“I feel like I’m still really new to this genre and this community so a nomination in both of these categories is pretty mind blowing to me,” Andress said. “Not to mention that being recognized by my peers and the Country Music Association is a true honor. My co-writers and I have worked incredibly hard, so after this year that none of us saw coming and couldn’t really prepare for, great days like today feel even more special.”

It was the breakout star’s second Opry visit in less than a week, having just performed this past Saturday for their 4,940th consecutive Saturday night broadcast. Her standout performances of “Both,” “More Hearts Than Mine” and “Lady Like” aired on Circle TV and SiriusXM as well as the Opry’s flagship home 650 WSM AM and wsmonline.com. It was also recently announced that Andress had become the winningest artist at the 32nd Annual MusicRow Awards, sweeping every category she was nominated in. In addition to taking home the award for Breakthrough Artist-Writer of the Year and Breakthrough Artist of the Year, “More Hearts Than Mine” also earned her the sought-after Song of the Year award. The emotional ballad is featured on her critically acclaimed debut album, Lady Like, which is set for a vinyl release on 10/16 and available for pre-order now (PRE-ORDER HERE).

Named to GRAMMY-contender watch lists by both Billboard and HITS, Andress has accumulated a career total of nearly 350 million global streams and was the only solo-female-debut to crack Top 20 on the Country Airplay chart in 2019. She has appeared on TODAY, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and Late Night with Seth Meyers and received overwhelming critical support from some of the most-read publications across the country including Variety, Entertainment Weekly, ELLE, People, WWD, UPROXX, PAPER, Idolator, LADYGUNN, Flaunt, HITS and several more. The Colorado-native started the year touring with Keith Urban on select dates, Andress’ 2020 tour dates also included shows with Dan + Shay, Tim McGraw and Thomas Rhett.
