Performs “Lady Like” Less Than Two Months After Its Release

Brand New Track “More Hearts Than Mine” Available Everywhere Now

Atlantic Records / Warner Music Nashville recording artist Ingrid Andressmade her national TV debut Monday night (4/15) on one of television’s most visible tastemakers, NBC’s Late Night With Seth Meyers (WATCH HERE). Described as “a country pop rookie who can write a chorus like Sia” (PAPER), she performed her first major-label release “Lady Like” less than two months after its release in late February and having already achieved over 3 million on-demand streams to date.

Upon its release, PAPER also applauded how Andress’ use of “lyrical specificity, moments of self-critical vulnerability and raw vocal gravity makes [country music’s] well-worn motifs sound fresh,” going on to praise her empowering anthem “Lady Like” for having “a sound built on clean pop melodies, but laced with country's swagger and cinematic storytelling in the style of crossover stalwarts like Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift and Kylie Minogue” (READ HERE).

She followed the “slow burning anthem of independence” (Rolling Stone) with the deeply personal “More Hearts Than Mine” (LISTEN HERE), which regularly receives multiple standing ovations when performed live. When writing the emotional ballad with Sam Ellis and Derrick Southerland, Andress pulled inspiration from her real-life experiences growing up in a large family.

The accomplished songwriter will continue to release new music throughout the year that will further prove why CMT calls her “arguably one of the most creative tunesmiths to call Nashville home in recent memory.” The Colorado-native will join label-mates Tucker Beathard, Hunter Hayes, Cody Johnson and Ashley McBryde for the Firestone Country Roads Stage at Ascend Amphitheater Presented by Warner Music Nashville on June 8 as part of CMA Fest.

ABOUT INGRID ANDRESS

"A country pop rookie who can write a chorus like Sia," (PAPER), Ingrid Andress has been chipping away at expectations of herself, and her sound, since she was a young child. Before becoming an Atlantic Records/Warner Music Nashville recording artist, Andress was born into a large family and homeschooled as a child. The acclaimed singer/songwriter honed her skills writing with heavy hitters in the music community such as Sam Hunt and Alicia Keys and has several co-writer credits to her name, including “Steady 1234” and Charli XCX’s “Boys.” With a voice praised by The New York Times for being "steady, calm, [and] alive," she will continue to release new music in 2019 that will prove her to be one of the most unique and moving vocalists in the country space and beyond; one that is thrillingly honest, raw and refreshing in a way rarely seen emanating from Music City.
