Brand New Song “Both” Available Everywhere Friday (5/17)

Atlantic Records / Warner Music Nashville recording artist Ingrid Andress recently released the deeply personal “More Hearts Than Mine,” an “elegantly written song” that TheNew York Times chose to highlight as one of nine notable tracks released last week (READ HERE). Billboardand CMT premiered its equally poignant music video earlier this month, featuring Andress in their “Rising Country Artist Spotlight” series (WATCH HERE), as the emotional ballad soars past 1.5 million on-demand streams. The acclaimed singer/songwriter with “talent in spades” (MusicRow) is also set to release her brand new song “Both” this Friday (5/17) to all digital music platforms. 

 

Andress made her “self-assured [and] expressive” (Rolling Stone) national TV debut on Late Night With Seth Meyers in April, performing her first major-label release “Lady Like.” The empowering anthem had been made available only two months prior and now rapidly approaches 4.5 million on-demand streams. PAPER applauds how the song’s “lyrical specificity, moments of self-critical vulnerability and raw vocal gravity makes [country music’s] well-worn motifs sound fresh,” going on to praise its “sound built on clean pop melodies, but laced with country's swagger and cinematic storytelling in the style of crossover stalwarts like Kacey Musgraves, Taylor Swift and Kylie Minogue” (READ MORE HERE).

 

She will continue to release new music throughout the year that showcases why CMT calls her “arguably one of the most creative tunesmiths to call Nashville home in recent memory.” The Colorado-native is also set to join label-mates Tucker Beathard, Hunter Hayes, Cody Johnson and Ashley McBryde for the Firestone Country Roads Stage at Ascend Amphitheater Presented by Warner Music Nashville on June 8 as part of Nashville’sCMA Fest.
