The major-label debut EP from Warner Music Nashville recording artist Ryan Griffin, Name On It, is available everywhere now (LISTEN HERE). American Songwriter praises the way “honesty and…vulnerability shines bright” on the “collection of songs that illuminate the gentle and caring nature of the native Floridian” (READ HERE).
Produced by Mark Trussell, Jason Massey and busbee, the six-song project features tracks all co-written by Griffin, each inspired by personal stories of his own. He has previewed the EP with recent releases “Down,” “One Prayer Left,” “Going Going Gone,” his major-label debut song “Right Here Right Now” and the EP’s title track, all telling stories of love, faith, gratitude and good times.
A genre-defying talent, his music fuses pop, soul and R&B with the honest universality of country to forge a romantic mix landing somewhere between Keith Urban and Brian McKnight. Receiving critical praise from outlets including People, Rolling Stone, Billboard, Entertainment Tonight and more, the heart-forward up-and-comer continues to seize his moment as a star on the cusp with his stunning vocals and hardwired emotional connection on full blast.
Since moving to Music City at the age of 17 after growing up on his family’s farm in Florida, Griffin has found success in songwriting – notably lending his pen to Kelsea Ballerini’s Platinum-selling hit “Dibs.” He has also grabbed his own artistic attention with fans across multiple music sharing platforms. Featured as a SiriusXM Highway Find, he has racked up more than 25 million streams in the U.S. alone with independently released track including the infectious “Woulda Left Me Too,” “Best Cold Beer” and “Play It By Heart.”
