Set to Live Stream Via Facebook this Monday, March 23 at 7:00pm/6:00c

In a time of social distancing and self-isolation, Warner Music Nashville’s sister duo Walker County (Ivy Dene and Sophie Dawn) continues to bring positivity to the world through the power of music. On Monday, March 23, Ivy and Sophie will host a WALKER COUNTY HOUSE PARTY, live streaming at 7:00pm/6:00c via Facebook (HERE) to perform several of their songs, including their most recent release “The Hamptons.”

Named a CMT 2020 Next Women of Country and Listen Up artist, Walker County joined Jimmie Allen and labelmate Michael Ray for the 10-date CMT On Tour run last fall. They have received praised from acclaimed outlets such as Taste of Country, who declared “with a pair of enduring voices matched by their vibrant presence, Walker County glimmer within the spectrum of modern country music.”

About Walker County:

From The Judds to the Dixie Chicks and the Carter Family itself, country music’s history is steeped and rife with family duos, bands and groups. Warner Music Nashville sister duo Walker County adds to that ‘family tradition’ with blood-thick harmonies and solid musicianship. Born and raised in rural Sulphur Springs, Indiana, sisters Ivy Dene (23, lead vocals) and Sophie Dawn (22, percussion and harmony) have been performing almost as long as they can remember. Sophie’s hard-driving rhythms and Ivy’s strutting, soulful vocals create a unique blend of country music that was inspired by the sounds of middle America they grew up on. And now, having spent years honing their skills, Walker County is ready to carry on the heritage of country music with their modern-traditional blend. This past fall, Walker County released their new song “The Hamptons” and will join the CMT Next Women of Country tour alongside Tanya Tucker in May.
