Warner Music Nashville/Buena Vista Records’ duo Temecula Road is providing another taste of their newly developed sound with “By You,” out now (LISTEN HERE). A flirtatious play on words with a swampy “bayou” flavor, the Dann Huff and Brandon Hood-produced track was written by the duo’s Emma Salute and Dawson Anderson as well as Corey Crowder and Chris Loocke.
“’By You’ was one of the first songs we wrote as a duo that truly felt like a Temecula Road record,” Salute and Anderson said. “Between the story of an enticing newfound love and the production magic of Huff and Hood, this song feels nostalgic and fun. There hasn’t been a moment when listening to this song that we haven’t smiled from ear to ear, even when it was only a voice memo on our phones.”
“By You” follows their first song release as a duo, “Heartbreak In Boots” (LISTEN HERE). Taste of Country called the track a “spellbinding charmer,” with CMT stating “the chilling harmonies throughout showcases their new wow-factor…their impressive knack for storytelling shines through.”
The duo recently joined labelmate Jessie James Decker for her The Woman I’ve Become tour, stopping in Los Angeles, CA last night at the El Ray Theatre. The tour will wrap on Sept. 9 in Utah after Temecula Road completes their Nashville Hits The Roof tour in Delray Beach, FL on Sept. 3. With over 15 million streams to date, they made their television performance debut on ABC’s The Bachelor last year and have been called out by the media including Huffington Post, CMT, and Rolling Stone.
