Singer/Songwriter’s “Driving Power Ballad” Set To Impact At Country Radio On Monday 4/13

Warner Music Nashville’s Tucker Beathard premiered the heart-wrenching official music video for “You Would Think" with Rolling Stone today, available to watch here. Directed by Sam Siske, the video’s powerful narrative details the timeline of a troubled relationship between a mother who struggles with addiction and her daughter who is left reeling from the repercussions. The “driving power ballad which deals with some potent emotions” (American Songwriter) is featured on the singer/songwriter's upcoming second chapter of his debut double album and has received critical praise since its release. “This hurtin’ tune features a brightly mixed lead vocal performance backed by a crunchy audio concoction that shudders and crashes in all the right places” (MusicRow) and will be available at Country Radio beginning Monday 4/13.

“The video for ‘You Would Think’ was really important to me, because I wanted it to tell the story of the song from the perspective we had when we were first writing it,” said Beathard, “'You Would Think’ can apply to many different types of strained relationships, but the storyline for this video is really raw and real. I’m looking forward to the song being available at radio on Monday too, and for more people to hopefully hear it.”

The first country artist to release a debut double album, singer/songwriter Tucker Beathard’s first installment, "Nobody’s Everything," was immediately praised as Beathard “bares his soul” on the vulnerable collection that focuses on Beathard’s craft, bringing “smart pieces from a singular mind, the kind of material that comes from someone who marches to his own drum and mines that perspective for his worldview” (Billboard). With co-writer, co-producer and guitar and drum credits on the release, while citing influences ranging from Blink 182, Kings Of Leon to Led Zeppelin and AC/DC, Beathard’s homegrown sound is turning heads. Following the independent release of “Nobody’s Everything,” Beathard signed a major recording deal with Warner Music Nashville. Beathard immediately garnered attention as “one of country music’s hottest

young acts” (Pitchforkwith his debut Top 5 breakout anthem “Rock On” and touring relentlessly including major festival including Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo, Austin City Limits Festival, Stagecoach and Faster Horses Festival, often playing upwards of 200 shows a year. The born road warrior has been tapped to hit the road later this summer as a guest on Brooks & Dunn’s REBOOT 2020 TOUR which is scheduled to kick off in Cincinnati, OH on 8/28 with stops across the country. Between touring, Beathard, a prolific songwriter, can be found in the studio, writing, recording, and playing his music.
