Celebrated recording artist and Grand Ole Opry member Chris Janson will wrap up an exciting album launch week this Saturday, May 7 with a night-long takeover of the Circle Network beginning at 7:00pm/6:00c. The evening’s programming lineup includes past performances on CMA Songwriters as well as the first-ever episode of new documentary series My Journey. Premiering at 8:00pm/7:00c, My Journey: Chris Janson will take the viewer all the way from Janson’s hometown in Missouri to his third consecutive sell-out at the historic Ryman Auditorium. A re-airing of Opry Live with Janson, Luke Combs and Zach Williams will follow at 9:00pm/8:00c. How to watch HERE.
“I’m thrilled and humbled to have my story told in my first documentary,” Janson said. “Music has helped build the amazing life I live. Thanks to Circle for sharing my journey so far and to the Opry for all its support.”
Janson rocked the Opry House last Friday night (4/29) for a special extended set, charging through his list of chart-topping hits (including “Buy Me A Boat,” “Fix A Drink,” “Good Vibes” and “Done”). He had the crowd on its feet for a selection of tracks from his new album, All In (listen / purchase HERE), from his Eric Church co-write “Flag On The Wall” to his brand new radio single “Keys To The Country.”
Janson performed “Keys to the Country” on NBC’s 3rd Hour of TODAY last week (watch HERE). MusicRow has praised the single as “a blazing, high-octane performance that totally rocks” – and advised, “Spin it until ya get dizzy.” It is available now for airplay and will officially impact radio on May 31. “Keys to the Country” showcases a handful of the hit-making songwriters featured on All In, including Dallas Davidson, Ashley Gorley and Zach Crowell. Full track listing and credits below.
The 16 tracks on All In also include standout cut “You, Me & The River” with superstar Eric Church. Whiskey Riff declared that their vocals “match perfectly” and tap into the darkness of the “deep-cutting chorus.” The song spawned an official music video that is equal parts cinematic and spine-chilling (watch HERE). Directed by Reid Long, the video premiered across all CMT platforms as well as the ViacomCBS billboard in Times Square.
The acclaimed entertainer, whom Bobby Bones named among the “greatest performers in country music,” will headline Ascend Amphitheater at CMA Fest on Friday, June 10. He recently wrapped the first leg of his “Halfway to Crazy” Tour and just announced a co-headlining run this fall with “Things You Can’t Live Without” partner Travis Tritt. Catch him on the road playing new music and fan favorites all summer long – dates at www.chrisjanson.com.
