Grab a shot glass! Celebrated singer / songwriter, instrumentalist and recording artist Charlie Worsham and multi-Platinum hit-maker Kip Moore are serving up the official music video for their new song “Kiss Like You Dance” (watch HERE). The video, directed by Emma Kate Golden, takes the viewer on a night out in East Nashville alongside Worsham and Moore. Together they bring a rowdy good time – for better or worse – to two neighborhood favorites, The 5 Spot and The Fox.
“I’ve never had more fun making a music video than I did with my buddy Kip Moore for ‘Kiss Like You Dance,’” Worsham shared. “It’s even cooler to me that we shot the whole thing in East Nashville. Emma Golden and her crew knocked it out of the park, and I think fans will get a kick out of a very special cameo toward the end of the video. And hey, if y’all like it have as much as I do, send the video to a friend you’d like to take to the honkytonks!”
Upon its release last Friday, Whiskey Riff praised “Kiss Like You Dance” for pairing Worsham (“one of the most talented musicians in the game”) with Moore (“one of the most underrated singer / songwriters in all of mainstream county music”). The Tennessean’s Marcus Dowling, meanwhile, declared the song “excellent.” Listen to the flirtatious track from Worsham’s upcoming project, Compadres, HERE.
Compadres, featuring Moore, Luke Combs, Elle King, Lainey Wilson and Dierks Bentley (full track listing below), is a versatile introduction to the next chapter of a decade-long story. More than that, it is a musical statement from his supporters that Charlie Worsham will have his moment. Produced by The Cadillac Three frontman Jaren Johnston, Compadres is due October 13 (pre-order HERE).
Worsham introduced Compadres last month with “How I Learned To Pray” feat. Luke Combs (listen HERE). MusicRow declared the duet a “little moment of musical magic,” commending “Worsham’s pitch-perfect voice and guitar eloquence” alongside “a wonderfully sympathetic assist by Combs.” Check out the song’s official music video HERE.
From his debut album Rubberband to his 2021 EP Sugarcane, Worsham’s discography has earned unflagging praise from critical outlets including NPR, The Wall Street Journal, The Tennessean, Billboard and Rolling Stone. A lauded multi-instrumentalist, Worsham is currently nominated for Musician of the Year at the 57th CMA Awards. He was previously honored with the 2022 ACM Award for Acoustic Guitar Player of the Year.
In addition to creating his own music, the proud Mississippi native continues to tour as part of Dierks Bentley’s band. He has also contributed his talents as both a vocalist and instrumentalist to projects from Eric Church, Lainey Wilson, Brandy Clark, Vince Gill, Hailey Whitters, Corey Kent, Carrie Underwood and Keith Urban, among others.
Like his Compadres have done for him, Worsham uplifts his fellow “liner note legends” as host of Pickers Radio on Apple Music Country. Listen HERE.
