New Album Greetings From the Neon Frontier Available Now

This morning, The Wild Feathers debut an acoustic version of their song “No Man’s Land” via Rolling Stone Country, who say the song “highlights the harmonies of Taylor Burns, Ricky Young and Joel King. The result is a breezy, unforced ode to a back-to-basics existence, captured with nothing more than two microphones.” The group taped the song at Nashville’s historic Ryman Auditorium and Joel King of the band adds: “This song represents the idea of returning to a simple life and getting away from the things that get in the way of true happiness. We wrote it on acoustic guitars and it felt fitting to play the song in its purest form at the Ryman - a place we have all escaped to many times as fans.” Watch the acoustic version of “No Man’s Land” via Rolling Stone Country here.

After a summer that included the launch of their new album Greetings From the Neon Frontier, national television appearances and a string of major festival performances, The Wild Feathers will perform a run of shows with award-winning duo Brothers Osborne on their headlining tour. The five-date trek will take them to arenas across Canada (full dates below), and tickets are available here.

“We have been big fans of the Brothers Osborne for a while now, so we are extremely excited to get out on the road to play a few shows with them in the fall,” said singer-guitarist Taylor Burns. “We’ve always felt that our style and sound would complement theirs, so these should be some really great nights of music for the fans.”

With brand new Greetings From the Neon Frontier tracks in tow, The Wild Feathers treat audiences to the “road music” that the Associated Press suggests “might make you step on the gas a little harder.” The recently released project has earned praise from outlets including the Rolling Stone, Parade and CMT, who definitively declared, “The Wild Feathers have returned triumphant and glorious.” As B-Sides and Badlands explained, “From beginning to end, Greetings from the Neon Frontier feels like a special, perhaps barrier-shattering, moment for the band. It’s whittled with heart and grit and is never so throwback you get lost in time. It’s woven with great care, and every syllable, guitar lick, drum pitter-patter is wrought with the purpose of moving the listener to feel something.”

The band has introduced the album’s tracks to fans both live and and over the airwaves on television and satellite radio. In July they performed standout track “Stand By You” on NBC’s TODAY with Kathie Lee and Hoda (watch HERE). They also took the tune, which has been applauded by MusicRow magazine for being “ridiculously catchy” and having “more hooks than a tuna boat,” to CBS This Morning: Saturday (watch HERE) along with “Quittin’ Time” (watch HERE) and “Big Sky” (watch HERE). The release of “Big Sky” led the breakout group to being named a “Highway Find” on SiriusXM The Highway earlier this year. The Wild Feathers are highlighting these tunes and more in their weekly “Behind the Song” series on their official YouTube channel.
